The sculpture, in metal, silver and gold plated, created by Frank Meisler, depicts Sigmund Freud at the app. age of 60, his reputation at its height. He is leaning against a chair of Edwardian erotica. The female shaped armchair is based on the one he used at his writing desk. The cigar in his hand has no significance; 'sometimes a cigar is just a cigar', as Freud himself said. His jacket opens to reveal some of the symbols basic to his work. At the rear Dr. Jung peers through a window.
On a revolving marble base. Limited Edition. Certificate of Authenticity.
